Haiti Connect was founded in January 2010 by Evert & Kate Bopp. Evert is the techie and “drive” behind the organisation while Kate is the brains and support. Evert can be described a a serial entrepreneur with a technical background. He has been involved in a number of start-ups and established companies over the last 15 years and has extensive experience in the provision of WiFi & Wimax service. His current professional activivites include Airappz, The Greenhouse Incubator and Inventorium.
Kate has a background in recruitment going back as far as working in the “City” district of London on the 1980′s & 90′s as well as office management. In addition of managing a home with 5 children she is also studying law at the University of Limerick.
